EAGLE STAR is giving discounts to people aged 50 and over on its Homestar contents and buildings insurance policies. A 10 per cent buildings cover discount is being given to all customers in the age group in recognition of their lower claims rate and their greater attention to repair work. Customers between the ages of 50 and 64 are being given a 15 per cent discount on contents cover. Older customers get a 20 per cent discount. Details from brokers.
