Lower premiums

Commercial Union is reducing motor insurance premiums by an average of 5.4 per cent. In addition, premiums on its Dual Driver policy - aimed at couples with good claims history - will be reduced by 10 per cent in return for an increase in the excess to pounds 100 from pounds 50.
