MIDLAND Bank is offering an almost identical deal to NatWest on its 10-year 8.99 per cent fix - available on 95 per cent loans to first-time buyers and on 90 per cent loans to others, with an arrangement fee of pounds 250.
Bank of Ireland is offering a two-year 6.49 per cent fix for 75 per cent advances (6.95 per cent for 93 per cent advances).
Abbey National is offering a 7.55 per cent fix until August 1996 for first-time buyers for a fee of pounds 199. For other borrowers the rate rises to 7.9 per cent and the arrangement fee is pounds 250.
