Midland Bank's new Gold Visa card has a minimum credit limit of pounds 3,000. It is open to people over 21 earning at least pounds 20,000 a year. There is an annual fee of pounds 35. Borowings cost 19.5 per cent APR or 21.3 per cent APR for cash.
