Money: Gift opportunity to help charity

A GIFT voucher scheme that works in the same way as record or book tokens has been launched by Charities Aid Foundation. You 'buy' donations to charity on behalf of friends or family and pass the value on in voucher form.

The recipient sends the voucher to a chosen charity, which collects the money from CAF. There are vouchers for pounds 10, pounds 25 and pounds 50. When they are presented for encashment, CAF checks that the organisation is an official charity. Donations from the vouchers do not qualify for tax relief. More information from CAF on 0732 771333.
