LLOYDS Bank will offer students an interest-free overdraft of up to pounds 400 as part of the package it is launching for the next academic year. Larger overdrafts will attract an interest charge of 11.3 per cent APR, although the first pounds 400 will still be interest- free. Students will also be given a free railcard. The other banks are expected to announce their student deals soon.
