Some 751 cash machines have been rebranded this week from Lloyds TSB to TSB. It marks the launch of the new retail bank that is being spun out of the giant Lloyds Banking Group. By next Wednesday, 631 Lloyds branches will be rebranded as TSB, as the brand name re-emerges on our high streets for the first time in almost 20 years. Customers affected are those whose branches were formerly part of Lloyds TSB Scotland and Cheltenham & Gloucester plus a further 282 Lloyds TSB branches. If you are included, you should already have been notified. Those who use online banking will find themselves redirected to tsb.co.uk from tomorrow, Sunday 8 September, but their existing Lloyds user ID and password will still be accepted. The plan is to float off the new bank sometime next year.
