WH Smith launched its gadget sale last week, with 70 per cent off the price of electronics and computing items online. Top items from the sale, which runs for as long as stocks last, include a Logitech webcam for £2.49 (was £39.99), a Sweex 4GB MP4 player for £7.49 (was £59.99) and a seven-inch digital photo frame for £9.99 (was £69.99). As Martin Lewis' Money Saving Expert website points out, WH Smith may claim the sale is "up to 70 per cent off" but the webcam is actually subject to a staggering, 94 per cent discount. High-end goodies on offer at Liberty

Liberty, the world-famous department store based on Regent Street in London, is currently running a "Better Than Therapy", 60 per cent off sale. Countless high-end goodies are available, including selected items from the fashion, accessories, home, fabrics and beauty sections. The sale is also running online, so there's no need for a dash to the capital to take advantage. Visit http://ind.pn/KKGW3l for more information.

New, online shopping site is worth a visit

BagThat.com is a new, virtual shopping site based on the "group-buying" and social -etworking model spearheaded by the likes of GroupOn. The site, which only recently launched in the UK, allows groups of customers to collectively haggle for a wide range of products, taking in everything from handbags to holidays. Products have been known to go for as little as half their recommended retail price, so it's well worth heading over to BagThat.com to check it out.

Up to 50 per cent off at Ikea stores

Finally, it was revealed last week that Ikea will be running an "up to 50 per cent off" sale in store until 8 July. Items included in the sale vary enormously, but they can be found at every Ikea store in the UK.
