Marks & Spencer is in the midst of a huge in-store and online sale, with discounts available at over 450 stores, including 150 M&S Simply Foods.

The savings extend across all departments, with particularly great offers including women’s Limited collection peep-toe high heels, down from £29.50 to £9, a two-pack of children’s Petit Bebe pure cotton floral leggings for £3, and massive savings throughout the M&S wine section. Details at marksandspencer.com/Sale.

Fake cigs for the social smoker

If you’re trying to be a less antisocial smoker, this SkyCig offer may well be of interest. SkyCig makes fake cigarettes that contain nicotine but no tar, toxins or harmful chemicals, and can be smoked anywhere. A SkyCig starter kit, including rechargeable case, five refills, batteries and 24- hour UK support, can be purchased for £11.99 – a saving of £38. To take advantage, visit http://ind.pn/L6HFX1 and enter the code QUIT38 before purchasing.

B&Qdiscount was for £100-plus items

In the Bargain Hunter column published on 5 May, I made an error in the description of B&Q’s Bank Holiday sale. There were indeed discounts of 20 per cent available that weekend, but unfortunately it wasn’t clear that these savings only applied to purchases over £100. This was an oversight on my part and I offer my sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused to readers.
