Finance professionals will soon be scouring the Internet for short-term contacts across the globe, according to recruitment specialists Robert Walters Associates.

A study of people in more than 200 leading City businesses published last week suggests that the next decade will see more contract-based work, an increase in international job movement and greater use of computers in recruitment.
