Allitt death threats

A patient at Rampton top security hospital has been jailed for nine years to protect the killer nurse Beverley Allitt. Gary Coates, 40, admitted two charges of threatening to kill her, Nottingham Crown Court heard. Allitt, 25, was sent to Rampton after being given 13 life sentences in 1993 for murdering four children on a hospital ward.
