MICHAEL JACKSON (right) has won the Glenfiddich award for Best Drink Journalist for his work in The Independent. His winning articles in this year's awards were on visits to sake breweries in Japan and cachaca distilleries in Brazil. He won a Glenfiddich Award in 1991 for his series "The Beer Hunter".
