HEINZ is set to launch its most famous product - baked beans - in China. The company's factory at Wigan, Greater Manchester, will produce the beans with labels printed in Mandarin, for the launch next month.

The company believes that the similarity of baked beans to soya beans will help to make them popular with China's 1.2 billion consumers.
