Body found under floor

The body of a man found under floorboards by officers who were checking a house may have been there for several weeks, police said. The remains of the man, believed to be in his thirties, were found at a house in Greenock.

Strathclyde Police have not been able to identify the remains, believed to be in a decomposed state, but forensic examination is expected to reveal more information today.
