EARLIER this week, after the first Serbian bombardment of Gorazde, we asked Independent readers what they thought should be done about the deteriorating situation in Bosnia.
By the end of the second day, nearly 500 people had responded by telephone and letter, choosing one of the three options proposed: to end the United Nations operation and pull out altogether; to take the battle to the Serbs to
prevent further aggression; or
to continue with the present policies, keep the troops in Bosnia and seek peace through further negotiations.
Your response was overwhelmingly in favour of the second option - taking on the Serbs - and your views were expressed in the most forthright terms.
