Police launched a murder inquiry after finding the body of a four- year-old boy yesterday.

Liam Wallace, whose body was discovered in a flat in Oldbury, West Midlands, was beaten to death, according to a post-mortem examination. A woman, 25, and a man, 18, were last night being questioned by police. Officers appealed for anyone with information about the attack to come forward.
