Hambro Countrywide has paid National & Provincial Building Society £1 for the assets and liabilities of Spencers, a firm of estate agents and surveyors based in Leicestershire.

Hambro Countrywide will take 11 branches, leaving the costs and responsibilities for the remaining three with N&P.
