3i raises pounds 200m for management bids

3i, the venture capital group, has raised pounds 200m for its second fund which will invest in the UK larger management buy-outs and buy-ins of more than pounds 10m. A number of international institutional investors from North America, the UK and the Far East will invest up to pounds 100m alongside 3i which has committed pounds 100m of its own capital.
