Accountants' tie

PANNELL KERR FORSTER and Robson Rhodes, two of the leading UK accountancy firms outside the Big Five, plan to merge on 1 May.

The announcement of the deal to create Pannell Robson, a firm with turnover of more than pounds 120m, comes just weeks after rivals BDO Stoy Hayward and Moores Rowland linked up creating a firm with annual revenues of pounds 150m.
