ALLIED DOMECQ, the drinks group, is investing pounds 75m to secure 70 per cent of a whisky joint venture with Jinro, the South Korean liquor firm. The companies will establish two joint venture firms to develop Jinro's own whisky brands and sell Allied Domecq's major brands in Korea.The two firms, are likely to be named Jinro Ballantine and Jinro Ballantine Trading.
