ARCADIA, the clothing group that includes Dorothy Perkins, Top Shop and Principles, yesterday claimed leadership in Internet clothing shopping services. Unveiling its results for the year to 29 August 1998, chief executive John Hoerner (left) said Arcadia's website had attracted 48,000 registered users, 40 per cent from outside the UK. Talks have already started with cable television companies about an interactive TV shopping channel. Pro-forma profits in the year rose 18.1 per cent to pounds 81.1m. The shares fell 7p to 273p.
