Around the World's Markets: Moscow

RUSSIAN shares closed down as the third bomb attack in Moscow in three weeks left investors concerned about further unrest.

The RTS1-Interfax index finished 6.46 per cent down at 97.132, its lowest since 2 June. The broader composite fell 9 per cent to 412.08.

The latest blast, described as a "terrorist attack" by officials, reduced an eight-storey apartment block to rubble in the early hours of Monday, killing at least 45 people.
