THE MAGIC mark couldn't be held as stocks fell, with the Dow losing 93.52 points, 0.9 per cent, to close at 9,913.26, as Coca-Cola, the world's biggest beverage maker, warned of weak sales and fell $3 7/8 to $63 5/6. Computer shares bucked the trend, with America Online soaring after announcing an e-commerce pact with Sun Microsystems.

The S&P 500 fell 0.7 per cent to 1,300.75; the Nasdaq Composite dropped 12.55 points, 0.5 per cent, to 2,480.29.
