WALL STREET recovered ground in early trading, as dealers ignored the worries about interest rates and corporate earnings that sent shares seesawing on Tuesday..
By midday the Dow Jones was up 46.54 points at 10,322.07. Technology shares gained, with TheStreet.com's Internet index was trading up 16 points at 647. Among the winners was online bookseller Amazon.com, up 14 per cent, but Hewlett-Packard and IBM were trading lower.
