STOCKS JUMPED on Tuesday in a big relief rally as Wall Street bet that the Federal Reserve will be out of the interest-rate-raising game in the near future after boosting short-term rates for the third time this year. The Dow Jones index shot up 171.58 points, or 1.59 per cent, to 10,932.33.

The Nasdaq continued to climb into the record books, soaring 73.52 points, or 2.28 per cent, to 3,293.06, its 11th record in 13 trading sessions.
