STOCKS ROSE with bonds after a report showed that producer prices (non-food and energy) were unchanged in November, easing fears that the Federal Reserve will raise rates soon.
The Nasdaq Composite rose 26.16 points, 0.7 per cent, to 3,620.33, its second successive record. Financial companies, including American Express and JP Morgan, led the Dow 89.91 points, 0.8 per cent, up to 11,224.70. The S&P 500 gained 8.93, 0.6 per cent, to 1,417.04.
