PARIS SHARES ended at a new record on Thursday, the 16th over the past 20 sessions, as telecoms and high-tech stocks pulled the market higher.
The CAC-40 Index added 3.15 per cent to close at 5,352.6 points, after setting a fresh intra-day high of 5,370.09 points.
Canal Plus, the TV channel, Vivendi, the conglomerate which has a major holding in Canal; and STMicroelectronics led the advance, brokers said.
