A system for giving buses priority at traffic lights is being installed in Leeds. The Tiger (Transport Information Gathering Evaluating and Reporting) System, made by JMW Systems, uses a transponder, attached to traffic lights, which identifies an electronic tag fitted to the bus and changes the sequence of the lights.
