Carlton disposes of US facilities

Carlton Communications, the independent television company, has agreed to sell The Gordon Media Companies, its US post-production facilities, to a management group in New York for $25m in cash. Gordon Media had operating profits of $3.4m in the year ended 30 September 1994, on sales of $25.6m.
