Chiltern Radio talks of white knight

Chiltern Radio, in its defence document published yesterday, urged shareholders not to accept a hostile share-exchange offer from GWR, saying a third party might make an all-cash agreed offer. However, Peter Burton, Chiltern's chairman, would not divulge the names of any would-be white knight. GWR said Chiltern was "muddying the waters".
