LUCAS INDUSTRIES is tomorrow expected to add its Coventry aerospace operation, which makes switchgear, to its pounds 100m list of planned disposals.
Lucas, desperate to improve cash flow, should confirm the news with publication of interim profits that are expected to be up only marginally at pounds 2.5m.
But the company, keen to shrug off its tag as a bid target, has been insisting to the City that it can make pounds 70m in the full year. It's a tall order.
