BEV RIPLEY, who helped build up Cityvision, the chain of video shops, is now hoping to cash in on the Nintendo craze. He has just become chairman of the tiny quoted concern JMD Group, which has raised nearly pounds 4m in new equity at 12 1/2 p a share from City supporters. The revamped company, now changing its name to (for some reason) Rhino Group, hopes to open 40 shops, specialising in computer and video games. The shares are close to 20p and could have some way to travel.
