ANOTHER share that could soon climb is Mirror Group Newspapers. The recovery in the share price that followed David Montgomery's appointment as chief executive has stalled, as investors worry about the worsening industrial relations picture.

However, MGN's announcement that it is basing its new Scottish printing plant at a site near Glasgow airport rather than at the Daily Record's Anderston Quay headquarters, should represent a substantial saving. Profits of pounds 28m for last year and pounds 40m for this, are expected, putting the shares at 89p on an undemanding earnings multiple of 13.5.
