BLENHEIM GROUP, the trade exhibitions organiser, had a good week last week. Attendances at its two latest shows, Networks 92 at Birmingham, which claims to be Europe's largest information technology fair, and PC Expo in New York. Networks attracted 14,000 people, up from 11,800, and PC Expo was visited by 100,000, a gain of 25,000.

Blenheim organises, manages and owns 275 events world- wide. Exhibitions account for 87 per cent of turnover with conferences contributing 6 per cent and trade publications 7 per cent. The biggest and fastest growing area of its business is IT, which accounts for 30 per cent of group sales.

In a move which should add some liquidity to its shares, the company has just added Kleinwort Benson as a third market- maker. Profits are expected to climb to pounds 35m this year from pounds 28m.
