SHARES in Manchester United reached an all-time high of 314p on Thursday, and it wasn't because of its new signing, Eric Cantona. The shareholding structure has settled down as people have realised it is a serious leisure company and the 'fans' who bought at the time of last year's flotation have been weeded out. Man U is also getting a greater following among leisure and smaller companies analysts. All that, and a few wins, should make the shares worth buying for the long term.
