Biocompatibles International is to get a listing on the stock market, with dealings in its shares expected to start on 13 April. It is issuing 10.29 million shares at 170p per share to raise £17.5m net. The company would have just over 43 million shares in issue after the placing, giving the company a market capitalisation of £74m.
Year ended 31 December
Kynoch Group, which makes healthcare equipment and related products, slightly reduced taxable losses to £710,000 (£769,000). Loss per share worsened to 3.9p (2.5p). No dividend.
Middlesex Holdings announced a sharp increase in pre-tax profits from £155,000 to £3.2m as turnover surged to £21.7m (£2.2m). Earnings per share improved to 0.44p (0.03p). Total dividend is 0.05p.
OIS International Inspection, which provides technical inspection services here and overseas, slumped from £2.2m to £144,000. Earnings per share were slashed to 0.2p (5.4p). Total dividend is 0.6p.
