Correction In Business Comment item about Courtaulds Textiles on Wednesday 11 September the word "sweatshops" was used.

Courtaulds Textiles assures us that none of its operations can be described as sweatshops,whether they are in the UK or overseas: they all operate under the same high conditions, including all health and safety and environmental aspects. Courtaulds Textiles go on to say that the wages they pay cannot be regarded as "starvation wages". We are happy to accept what they say.
