THE FUTURE of Dan-Air, the struggling airline group, is likely to be decided in the next few days as negotiations continued this weekend for a capital injection by Richard Branson, head of Virgin Atlantic.

According to sources close to the talks, there are difficulties in agreeing terms. But if negotiations fail, Dan-Air may struggle to persuade its shareholders to stump up a desperately needed pounds 50m in new capital.
