Magazine publisher Emap signalled a slowdown in revenue growth in the second half, taking the shine off a 70 per cent increase in underlying pre-tax profits for the six months to September. Profits improved across the company's activities,which include consumer and business magazines, regional newspapers and radio interests. Reported pre-tax profits jumped from pounds 22.2m to pounds 33.9m while the interim dividend, jumped to 3.7p (2.5p).
