Eurotunnel inquiry

The London Stock Exchange has swapped information with its counterpart in France about share price movements ahead of Eurotunnel's recent pounds 858m rights issue. Shares in Eurotunnel declined sharply before the issue, leading to allegations that some of the underwriters had sold shares they did not have in order to drive the price down.
