Hamper company down 17%

Shares in Park Foods, the hamper business run by Everton football club chairman Peter Johnson, lost 17 per cent of their value yesterday after the company reported problems in its wholesale hamper business. Shares fell 18.5p to 91.5p after the company said the decline in door-to-door milk deliveries had dented sales at its wholesale hamper business, which relies heavily on milkmen to sell hampers.
