How to be a director

A new guide to the standards and skills needed by directors will help counter public and government concern over top pay and performance, the Institute of Directors said yesterday.

The guide, Good Practice for Directors: Standards for the Board has been drawn up for the IoD by Henley Management College and is based on research among several hundred directors and companies.
