IBM in Vietnam

International Business Machines is returning to Vietnam after a 20-year absence. The Vietnamese government has issued IBM with a licence to open a representative office. US companies can do only limited business because of the economic embargo.

Other US companies there include Bank of America, Citibank, Philip Morris and the lawyers Baker & McKenzie.
