IN BRIEF : Digital sells Scottish plant
Digital Equipment, the giant US computer group, has sold its semiconductor manufacturing plant at South Queensferry in Scotland to Motorola for an undisclosed sum, believed to be in excess of £100m.
The plant employs 500 and makes a wide variety of semiconductor products.
