Kleeneze on legal alert

Kleeneze, which yesterday announced the sale of its door-to-door homewares sales operation for up to pounds 12.6m, said it would "vigorously defend" writs from ousted director Nigel Swabey, said to have made bids between pounds 3m and pounds 32m for the homecare business in the past few years. The operation is being sold to Farepak.
