Sales discussed as N-reg hits forecourt

The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders is to discuss alternatives to the current car annual registration change-over with the Department of Trade and Industry. One tenth of the year's total UK car sales are expected to be made today with the change to N-reg plates.
