Norbrook Laboratories in Newry, Northern Ireland, has launched a veterinary drug that it claims will reach sales of pounds 60m within the next few years. Alamycin LA300 is an antibiotic injection that the company says lasts 50per cent longer than comparable treatments, resulting in less handling and reduced stress in sick animals.
