Innovation: Uniform approach

THE quartermaster's stores are to be computerised. The Ministry of Defence is spending pounds 2m on a system to manage its annual pounds 180m procurement of spares and other supplies for the Army. Installed by Unisys, the system will institute a single countrywide approach.
