IPE names new chief executive

The International Petroleum Exchange has appointed Richard Ward as its new chief executive. Mr Ward replaces Lynton Jones, who resigned in late July after IPE members voted down a management plan to sell the exchange to private investors. Mr Ward was appointed acting chief executive after the July vote.
