Kerry buys Dalgety unit

Dalgety is selling its food ingredients manufacturing unit to Ireland's Kerry Group, helping the food maker's attempts to reverse mounting losses. Dalgety will sell the unit, which includes the Spillers cereal and flour- milling operations and its seasonings, food coatings and flavourings businesses, for pounds 335m.
